The BIN

Lisa Johnson | DEC 19, 2025

Over the years, my love for my home and farmyard has continued to grow. From spectacular sunrises in the east to peaceful sunsets in the west, this land has witnessed many seasons of change. Like most farmyards, there are buildings that have outlived their original purpose—and the bin was one of them.

It began as a chicken coop, later became a grain bin, and eventually turned into storage for things no longer needed. For a time, it simply stood still, waiting. Eventually, it became clear that it was time for the bin to be loved again.

For many years, the BIN stored the harvest of the farm. Today, it has been reimagined as a place for a different kind of harvest. I invite you to come to The BIN to cultivate and gather your inner strength through movement, mindfulness, and compassion.

The BIN Movement Studio is a space where I guide others with care and intention—blending movement and mindfulness to support strength, balance, and overall well-being. What was once a place of storage has become a place of renewal, growth, and possibility.

I invite you to follow the transformation here as The BIN continues to evolve—season by season, movement by movement, and breath by breath.

Storage for things never to be needed again

A Scary Start: The BIN had become a place of forgotten storage—filled with items that were never meant to be used again.

Built to Last: The structure was strong, with many walls to remove—once housing four bins that stored the farm’s harvest.

Up High & Well-Worn: Ladders stretched to the roof and doors once used to bring in the harvest. In recent years, the pigeons had turned it into a deluxe home.

Cleaned, primed, and ready for the next steps—preparing the space for its next chapter.
